This and That

I took my kids to a parade for the first time in years last week. The pretty floats, marching bands, clowns and my favorite - the bagpipes - made it almost worth sitting in the hot sun, however, I could have lived without all the advertising. There also seemed to be an awful lot of candy being thrown around. Then my two youngest children and I headed up to Boise for my niece's wedding. It was very enjoyable although I could have lived without the 105 degree weather. We ended the trip by floating down the Boise river. While I was away, my husband went to a funeral. Very sad and although I didn't know them personally (I just recently met her for the first time) I know some people whom it affects and my heart goes out to them.
