Goodbye

I don’t consider summer to be over until after after our summer vacation. So, consider it officially over.

Marysvale

Grand Canyon

Zion National Park

Labor Day weekend at the cabin was the last time I saw my father-in-law alive (not including the hospital). We came back from our vacation a day early to say goodbye knowing he was going to pass away after sustaining a critical head injury from a fall. We will miss him.

Then, 2 days later, my youngest 2 kids underwent heel chord lengthening surgery. This is actually Lindsey’s 2nd surgery. We hope it corrects the toe walking once and for all.

We picked our first watermelon out of our garden. It was just delicious if I do say so myself. Doug's dad, being a watermelon lover himself, would have enjoyed it.
