Congratulations to my self-proclaimed fourth place winner. Each class took the top 3 winners of each class to move on. My son came home from school and told me he got 4th place in his class. So we were so proud and told everyone but then I asked him how he knew he got 4th place. Did his teacher tell him? He replied, "No, mine was just better than the others." But we are still proud of him.
We spent a lot of time on this project and my other son's Rube Goldberg project a couple weeks before. Now we just have a pinewood derby car to make and finish up my son's eagle project then hopefully we will be done with kids' projects for awhile.

My favorite part of that whole story is the part that he is self-proclaimed a winner!!!! Good self esteem!!
