Daugher: "What are we going to do for Earth Day?"
Mom: "Hmmm, what? Is that a holiday?" (I think she hoped that I would say I would make dirt pudding with gummy worms.)
I checked my calendar and didn't see it on there, but Happy Earth Day anyway. In celebration, I went outside and admired my gorgeous tulips that I planted last Fall. Then I went visiting teaching where I was given one of those energy efficient light bulbs that I will certainly use.

Oh I forgot to celebrate it! I usually do. I guess I will take today and do something nice for Mama Earth. Thanks for the reminder.
