Ya, ya, Thanksgiving is over but I wanted to share this recipe I made for Thanksgiving dinner - yams you will eat because you like them and not because you have to because it's Thanksgiving tradition and you don't want to hurt anyone's feelings. You know, you can make anything taste good when you add enough butter and sugar to them.
4-6 sweet potatoes cooked and mashed
Add 2 cups sugar
4 beaten eggs
2 tsp salt
2 tsp vanilla
Mix and pour into a 9x13 baking pan
In separate bowl:
1 cube melted butter
2 cups brown sugar
2/3 cups flour
1 cup chopped pecans (optional)
Mix and crumble on top of yam mixture and bake at 350 for 30 min.
